About Me

My name is Annamarie Roberts. I am a Nutritional Therapy and Food intolerance Testing Practitioner. I hold an AIT (dip) in Food Intolerance Testing, an SNHS (dip) in Holistic Nutrition, an SNHS (dip) in Sports Nutrition and am currently studying a BSC (Hons) in Health and Science. I have been studying natural therapies for over fifteen years and have gained experience treating people with symptoms directly related to diet and lifestyle.

I live in Farnham, Surrey and practice from venues covering the surrounding areas.

I am a mother of three and a lifetime sufferer of cystic fibrosis. I have spent a large part of my life relying on medications which included; steroids, antibiotics and other respiratory and digestive medications to treat my illness. Over time, I have become aware of the negative side effects that these methods produce so it is now my goal to discover a more natural approach to achieve optimum health.

By making small changes, I have become consciously aware of how my body responds to foods and natural supplements and I have been able to successfully stop taking almost all of my daily prescribed medications. This has made a huge impact on my life and I have begun to feel stronger and more in control.

I have found many alternatives while exploring health and learning to work in tune with my body. I believe that diet and lifestyle can become habitual chores and this can leave us feeling unfulfilled, unwell and deflated. Sometimes we become so reliant on what we are used to and would rather avoid stepping out of our comfort zone. My aim is to help you to take on a more mindful approach to eating.

I feel passionate, that with a little encouragement, guidance and support, I can motivate and inspire you to look and feel healthier -  just by making a few changes to your diet. You will be embarking on a new journey and once you begin, after seeing and experiencing the benefits, it is highly likely that you will never want to go back to how things were.

I am committed to taking as natural an approach to health as possible, seeking the root of a problem rather than treating the symptoms, although I am aware that in some cases further medical treatment may be required, and so have a flexible attitude towards working together alongside medical professional's to make a client's health goals possible.

I realise that everyone is unique and a 'one size fits all' attitude is not applicable when considering solutions to an individual's health problems. I believe this is where a holistic viewpoint is advantageous because it allows a personalised diet program to be developed with one's unique lifestyle and nutritional requirements in mind.
